Firestone's diamonds sold out in first tender of 2012

Botswana Stock Exchange-listed diamond junior, Firestone Diamonds, says its first rough tender for this year was received with such high interest from buyers that all diamonds on sale were taken up.

In a statement, the company says the diamond tender, which was concluded last week at the Diamond Technology Park in Gaborone, was well attended with 35 diamond buyers turning up while 23 bids were submitted.

"The company is pleased to announce that all of the diamonds on tender were sold," commented Tim Wilkes, CEO of Firestone Diamonds.
