British diamond producer, Firestone Diamonds, has unveiled plans to de-list from the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) because of its impending exit from the country and low trading of its counter since listing in June 2011.

The planned de-listing is the last resolution on the company's agenda for its Annual General Meeting to be held in London on November 29.

Shareholders are expected to approve the de-listing despite the loss many who bought at the listing price of P3.35 will make. The counter has been stuck at 60 thebe since its Black Friday on January 25, when it plummeted by P1.16.
