A recent report by the World Bank has further made it harder for Botswana to lure Foreign direct investment (FDI) as it shows that the country is becoming one of the most difficult places in the world to register a property, as it drops 17 points in rankings in 12 months.

The World Bank Doing Business 2010 Report now ranks Botswana 45 out of 183 countries as compared to  position 39 the country attained last year.
