Discovery to raise USD 140m for Boseto this year

BSE-listed Discovery Metals (DML) may raise $140 million by the end of the year to fund development of its Boseto Copper Project in Maun.

The Managing Director of the Australia-based Discovery says the company may raise half the sum from equity and half from debt. "The company is also open to talks with potential joint venture partners," Brad Sampson said in an interview with Bloomberg.

"We're getting a lot of interest from banks and potential investors. We're still bullish about the longer-term prospects for copper because it's harder and harder to get at good resources."
