De Beers Vice President Varda Shine's long awaited relocation to Gaborone will be short-lived as she is set to leave the company in January, largely due to differences with the rest of the management over pricing policy, industry sources claim.


Shine, who is in charge of De Beers’ Global Sightholder Sales, formerly known as DTC International, has for the past two years been spearheading the company’s relocation to Botswana. She will now only be in Gaborone for a few weeks before leaving the company in two months time.
