Dare To Dream holds successful Fly for STEAME :: Mmegi Online

Dare To Dream Foundation has announced that the Eighth Edition of the Fly Fof STEAME Southern Africa Initiative, successfully took place on November 30, 2024.

The groundbreaking programme, established in November 2020, continues to inspire and empower young minds across Botswana by introducing them to the vast opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship (STEAME), with a special focus on aviation and aerospace technologies.

Born in the midst of a global pandemic, Fly For STEAME has already positively impacted over 1,000 young people, with participants from urban and rural areas, including Gaborone, Francistown, Jwaneng, Takatokwane, and Mabuasehube, amongst others. The initiative combined introductory flight, robotics and coding workshops, motivational talks, and leadership sessions to unlock curiosity and fuel ambition in young minds.
