Council accused of sidelining businesses

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Selebi-Phikwe Town Council has been accused of sidelining businesses operating in the town.

Businessman, Palalani Moithobogi of Kgwebo Management and Secretarial Services has complained that the council is not playing its role as a facilitator of entrepreneurship.

He said that support structures that were available during the time of the former town clerk, Paulos Nkoni have vanished. He said the expected link between the government, business community and the council does not exist.
