Fairground Holdings, the organisers of the annual Consumer Fair, are elated after this year's edition of the fair attracted over 50, 000 people.

The company's CEO, Michael Montshiwa, has told Business Today that they surpassed their 50, 000 crowd target. Montshiwa said Saturday was such a busy day that they ran out of tickets and had to use tickets from last year.

"I am very happy," he said. "The whole fair went according to plan, and attendance was by far more than what we had anticipated." Montshiwa added that they were still reconciling ticket sales.
