CIC's financial woes worsen

*Losses attributed to staff retrenchment

Mmamabula Energy Complex promoters, CIC Energy's losses continue to skyrocket as the search for new suitors to breathe life into the 2.4 billion tonne coal project prolongs.

This week, the Toronto and Gaborone-listed coal developer, reported a net loss for the three-month period ended August 31, 2011 of P18.43 million ($2.6 million), compared to a net loss of P10.5 million $1.5 million for the same period last year.
