Choppies spread wings in SA

RUSTENBURG: Botswana's supermarket chain, Choppies, has been applauded for its 'valuable' contribution to the South African economy.

A spokesperson of Rustenburg Municipality, Olga Chauke, commended Choppies during the official opening of Choppies Rustenburg last weekend.

Chauke praised the supermarket for "creating not less than 200 full-time job opportunities and 27 part-time jobs for South Africans".  "The opening of the store couldn't have come at a better time," she said.
