CEDA concerned about non-payment of loans

PALAPYE: With approximately only half the advances collected, the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) has raised concerns about non-payment of loans.

This came to light during a customer forum for cattle breeders last week. CEDA's Head of Agribusiness, Nametso Laletsang, said as at the end of September, 959 projects had been funded and a total of P531 million loaned out.

Laletsang said it was disappointing that with the collection rate standing at 51 percent, many of their clients were not paying their instalments.
