Budget at variance with reality-report

The 2012/2013 Civil Society National Budget Analysis Report reveals a mismatch between the upbeat tone of the budget and the reality on the ground.

The analysis, compiled by private researchers, Dr. Emmanuel Botlhale and Dr. Keitseope Nthomang shows that while the budget touts improvement in some critical issues of concern, public consultations revealed the opposite.

The report, which was sponsored by the Botswana Council for Non-Governmental Organisations (BOCONGO) in partnership with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung was shared at a stakeholders meeting in Gaborone yesterday.
