BTC mobile launches today

The Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) is today launching its mobile phone subsidiary, BTC Mobile, at the Gaborone Sun.

The telecommunications parastatal has been awarded the 73 number range. In a press statement, BTC says following the success of its network tryout and constructive feedback, BTC Mobile's VIP launch today will be followed by a public launch on Saturday and Sunday.

"The key objective of these activities is to reveal the brand of BTC Mobile and declare the readiness of the business," says a statement making the announcement.
