BR Passes Safety Audit in SA

The permit, which was granted last month but was handed to Transport Minister Lesego Motsumi on Friday, will be reviewed after three years.
It places BR ahead of other regional railways operators who have failed to acquire it.
In a statement on Friday, BR said being already safety conscious, it was easy for it to pass the RSR safety audit that covered BR's operations, rolling stock, permanent way, signalling and safety plan.
