Botswana among top 25 tourist destinations for 2013

World-leading travel intelligence firm, Fodor's has included Botswana in an exclusive group of 25 must-see global destinations for 2013, noting its rare combination of untouched wilderness, beauty as well as lush facilities.

Fodor's, a US firm with roots dating back to 1936, is the world's largest publisher of English language travel and tourism information and enjoys an influential role in tourists' decisions on their destinations.

Fodor's placed Botswana within its recently released "25 Places To Go In 2013," an authoritative guide compiled by tapping into the firm's worldwide network of 700 permanently based travel writers. Other destinations in the top 25 include Amsterdam, Easter Island, Maldives, Ireland, New Orleans, New Zealand and Seville.
