BHC aims to build 30,000 houses over NDP10

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC) is to build over 29 000 houses in the next seven years of NDP10, BHC CEO Reginald Motswaiso said at the corporation's annual Customer Day over the weekend here.

"To this end, the corporation plans to build 29, 191 houses in a period of seven years during NDP10 with its own resources," Motswaiso said. The plan period will be broken into two - the first of three years, the second of four.

"During the first period, the corporation will target to build 10, 037 housing units across the country," he said. BHC will also have third party projects comprising 13, 342 housing units on an agency basis.
