BEMS Emergency Services Launches

On the night BEMS, the newest emergency medical service company launched at Phakalane, it paraded some of the rarest expertise in the southern African region; all the five bachelor’s degree qualified paramedics in Botswana are with the new entrant.

This was confirmed proudly by the BEMS founder Dr  Tiro Mampane, who added that in some provinces in South Africa there is not even one single Bachelor’S Degree qualified Paramedic, while  the situation is worse in other SADC countries. He said this scenario affords his experts in the field expanded scope of practice.

Mampane also announced that from their Research Centre of Excellence they have developed an App called “My Care” which will be running on any smart phone application to augment their offerings. In addition, they also have crash impact notification platform through the tracking device which immediately sends a message to BEMS call centre for the dispatch team to respond timely.
