BCL To Counsel Retrenched Employees

SELEBI-PHIKWE: BCL will provide counselling to its more than 300 employees to be retrenched to cushion the mine against the effects of depressed metal prices.

BCL general manager Montwedi Mphathi said although the mine does not have plans to help retrenchees start up business ventures, the company would counsel them.

In the past, the mine encouraged retrenched employees to form a consortium and register as BCL suppliers.
