BCL mine to reopen ahead of schedule

SELEBI-PHIKWE: BCL Mine shutdown will be completed before Independence Day, approximately a month ahead of schedule.

Speaking during the visit of Miss World First Princess to the mining town last week, BCL Public Relations and Marketing Manager, James Molosankwe, said the fast pace of work had altered timeframes.

Molosankwe told Emma Wareus that the shutdown was initially scheduled for completion in July, but delays in delivery of bricks for re-building a part of the smelter resulted in re-scheduling to October.
