Speaking at the official opening of the Selebi-Phikwe office of MVA Fund at Anne Adams Park over the weekend, Sekwakwa said while Batswana always complained about the influx of Chinese in Botswana, they did little to reduce it. "I have been to banks in countries overseas where [the way] they treat their customers is excellent," he said. "But it is a different story here.

Projections have shown that there will be a decline in revenues from minerals soon, especially diamonds. We must work hard and find other means of generating revenue."
