Barclays to introduce multi-faceted ATMs

Barclays Bank Botswana is planning to introduce new technologically advanced Automated Teller Machines (ATM) that will reduce the need for customers to use banking halls.

"Next year, we will be operating hybrid ATMs which allow customers to deposit cash, apply for loans and process bill payments. This is beneficial to customers because they will be able to do banking beyond banking hours.

Other features of the new ATMs include ordering a chequebook," said Peo Motshegare, Barclays retail director, during a tour of the bank's new branch at Game City.
