The managing director of Bank Gaborone, Sybrand Coetzee has said every opportunity they get to see their customers is always a good reminder of how they are important to the bank’s existence.

Coetzee was addressing clients and other stakeholders at a highly attended end of year breakfast session held at Phakalane Golf Resort recently.

He said though they are still one of the youngest banks in the country, through their customers they have managed to grow over the past 10 years. Bank Gaborone’s first branch at Capricon House opened its doors on September 18, 2006 after Bank of Botswana awarded them a banking licence in February 2006.
