ABC donates to orphan

The American Business Council (ABC) has donated P20 000 to Maru-A-Pula towards the cost of educating an Aids orphan from the SOS Village at the school.

The money will enable a gifted orphan to experience the best that the Botswana educational system has to offer at the school known for its high standards.

Presenting the cheque to the principal of Maru-A-Pula Andy Taylor at Maharajah Restaurant on Tuesday, the American Ambassador to Botswana Katherine Canavan said the contribution had been made possible by the success of seminars sponsored by the American Business Council and the generosity of all ABC members.
