Zim's Macheso to spice up Slizer album

Zimbabwe's Sungura music king Alick Macheso invades Botswana later this month and will give a bit of zing to Slizer's upcoming album.

Botswana dance queen, Slizer (Naledi Kaisara), has revealed that the well-travelled musician will feature in her next album.  Two shows have been slated for June 24 and the next day the two will take their acts to the capital, Gaborone.  Two weeks later, the duo will stage two gigs in the neighbouring country's capital, Harare.

"I'm positive that performing alongside Macheso will improve my performance a lot and he has agreed to play a part in the album that I'm working on.  He's excellent when it comes to the guitar and I know he'll add value to my project.  He's also an international artist, having performed in countries like the United Kingdom (UK) and Australia many times; so there's much to learn from him," Slizer told Showbiz.
