Zim sculptress defies the odds

While sculpture is almost a man's domain, Zimbabwean sculptress, Catherine Manhotoma, has defied all the odds, carving a niche for herself internationally.

Never mind the challenges that come when a woman tries to venture into sculpture because Manhotoma has overcome them systematically, ascending the ladder of success.  Her star continues to shine brightly with new projects on the horizon here in Botswana.

Passionate, artistic and endowed, yet humble sounds the most decent way to describe multiple award-winning artist.
