Young musician Genius Senyatso seems to be following in his father's footsteps. Genius is the son of the late folk music legend, Duncan Senyatso, who used to share the stage with his son where he would introduce him to the crowd.

One of the shows at which the father and son shared the stage was at the once popular Tlokweng Beer Garden some years ago.  The show also featured Lesotho Afro jazz artist, Bhudaza who was recently in the country.

Last Friday, Genius staged a gig at Club Catch Jazz 22 where he showed patrons that he has some of his father's magic in him.  He demonstrated that he has what it takes.  Genius' backing band was equally capable.
