Young artist turns a minus into a plus

Kaene Phometsi was left idling after he failed his Form Three in 2002. The young lad form Mochudi would find himself roaming the streets of Gaborone until one day when the artist in him popped out.

He then started doing some small pieces of art including sculptures, paintings, mosaic pieces and some pencil drawings.

Soon Phometsi had grabbed the attention of a few art enthusiasts who came in for his "amatuer" pieces and money started trickling in which was a big enough motivation for the young man to continue producing more.
