Women of Jazz to dance for Gender Links cash

The Women of Jazz ensemble comprises Punah Gabasiane, Nnunu Ramogotsi and Kearoma Rantao.

In a press statement, Women of Jazz said they have not only devoted themselves to the enjoyment and promotion of song, but have braved what has always been a male-dominated industry and genre.  Says the statement: "We are talented solo artists in our own right who run our individual projects and come together once or twice in a year to organise charity events.  For the past four years we have been hosting several fund-raising activities to assist different non-governmental organisations (NGOs)."
