It's a New Year and like other people artists have aspirations for 2013, so Showbiz had a chat with some of Botswana's artist to find out what they hope for in the New Year.

Well-known artist, Odirile 'Vee' Sento said that he wants to grow his Black Money Makers brand and make it more corporate in terms of the jobs he gets for his company. "This year I want to grow spiritually and find my place as a minister of the word of God.  I also want to reach out to the youth and curb drug and alcohol abuse amongst them because nowadays, unlike in the past, it is fashionable to be an addict." Gospel artist, Kabelo Eric Kgaodi better known as Kabelo Eric says this year he is going back to the studio to work on his new album, His Worship. "In my forthcoming album, I am going to work with the likes of Joel Keitumele and Thabang Gaarogwe and it's also going to feature the likes of Buhle of Joyous Celebration fame," the artist said adding that he hopes that the envisaged album will be released this winter.

The award-winning Kabelo Eric is currently a full-time minister with the Holy Ghost International Ministries in Gaborone. Kabelo 'DJ King' Motlhankana from Serowe hopes to release a single with the help of fellow disc spinner, DJ Oats. The DJ who won an  award in the DJ category at the Sprite competition last year says he is looking for more challenges in the New Year.
