Afro jazz songbird Bomolemo Nnunu Ramogotsi has been riding the crest of wave since the release of her acclaimed album, Mma Sonoko last year.

The album has been receiving massive airplay on local radio stations. Some of the tracks from the popular album include Mampi, Memories, Potang ka koo and Role la tsie.In this album, Nnunu was influenced by her Bamalete culture, which is evident in most of the tracks.A perfectionist to the core, Nnunu did not leave anything to chance during the production of the album as she roped in professionals.

Nnunu, who is also part of the Women of Jazz ensemble, has become one of the most sought after local artists to perform at corporate gigs and other events.   Towards the end of last year, she was one of the local artists who shared the stage with South African crooner Ringo Madlingozi at the Botswana Craft. One of the major corporate functions that she performed at was the recent Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) glittering awards ceremony.   On that particular day, Nnunu staged two shows.  During the day she performed at the regional Presidential Live Bands competitions at Gaborone West mall where she became the runner-up in this category.  Later in the evening she dazzled revellers at the BNSC function.
