Local rapper Wasekai (Lekgotla Radikara) may not ooze the kind of confidence that normally characterises Hip-Hop stars, but believe it the young man knows his stuff.

A truly proud Motswana, the Ramotswa lad combines urban styles with simple Tswana proverbs to create the kind of music that would have even the older generation sit up and take notice.

In the process he makes the young folks very conscious of their origins. The slim musician threw fans into a frenzy on Friday night with his deep Tswana lyrics at the Bull n Bush in Gaborone.
