Tshidi the budding Afro-pop star

A glance at the cover of her CD gives you the idea of how big this girl could be and meeting her in person confirms it. But never mind the serious look on the sleeves, Matshidiso Laletsang is just a soft-spoken woman who would not hurt a fly.

Tshidi, as she prefers to be called in music, is a budding Afro-pop star whose self-titled album is sure to help her carve a niche in this tough industry.  She might not boast one of the best voices but she has enough talent to earn scores of fans. "Astely has always inspired me because when I was growing up I loved dancing and always wanted to one day venture into Afro-pop and it was an honour when he agreed to work with me on this album.
