Thunder Power returns with Resimolotse

The four-member traditional group Thunder Power who tried to penetrate the music industry in 2007 has returned with a new offering 'Resimolotse'.

The album was produced at Bullet Music Production (BMP) by Bullet 'The King' Ketshabile. The group, which was formed in 2006 after two of its members - Mpho 'Voster' Keitshweditse and Kennedy 'Bomo' Tlase) - left Kasane-based Matsosa Ngwao formerly Sefophe Practitioners of Theatre (SPOT) to form the group. Other members of the group are Kemiso 'Cams' Teemane and Mogomotsi 'Speto' Puso.  The four members, who all come from Radisele Village in the Central District, said they have decided to do traditional music because it is close to their hearts as they were traditional (Borankana) dancers while still at Moeng College.

"We know we have the capabilities, it is only that we got a raw deal with our first album which was recorded at Gold Medal Studio at Mahalapye in 2007. But however we did not give up because we knew we had the potential to give music lovers what they want. We could not do much about the album, even to launch it because we did not get the quality that we wanted to pull off the album", said Voster.
