Theatre genius Paya in one-man show

One of Botswana's highly talented theatre artists, Tefo Paya, is back this weekend with a satirical one-man show, mocking corruption in high offices.

Amongst others, Paya made a name for himself when he played the role of former South African President Thabo Mbeki, in the play Thabo Mbeki in Johannesburg a few years ago.

This weekend Paya is performing a one-man show, The Mother of All Eating, set in the 1980s in Lesotho. The play is a one-man satire exploring an unfortunate culture of corruption called 'eating'.  This culture has become synonymous with corrupt state officials who enrich themselves through government deals and funds.
