Mmegi:  Take us back to your early years in Botswana?

Knight: I joined the police service soon after finishing Tirelo Sechaba - I did my training at the old police college at the Village. I was amongst the first group of women to undertake SSG training and soon after 'passing out,' I was posted to CPS in Gaborone. A year later, I was transferred to the band, which was based at the SSG camp - I played the saxophone and flute in the marching and dance bands. After nearly seven years of service, I resigned from the force at the rank of sergeant.
