The melody of Drakensberg returns to Gabz

Whenever they stage a show here, the Drakensberg Boys never leave the city without having inspired the dreams of young boys here to follow the choir to Drakensberg and learn to be just as amazing.

Gaborone will once again enjoy this awe inspiring performance by the widely traveled choir that dishes out musical variety that includes such styles as Bach, Handel, Mozart or Beethoven.

The boys' choir also serves hidden delights such as jazz, folk, or music by Freddie Mercury - an array of what it means to enjoy music as the boys take on complex melodies and difficult rhythms, and rise to the challenge time after time. Last year talented Gaborone boy Moonga Kapambwe, currently in the Top 6 of the MAD Battle of the Finalists that attracts a first prize cash of P50, 000, came close to following the Drakensberg Boys choir to their lovely mountain training academy, only for lack of financial resources to hold him back.
