Seven years after its initial staging in Gaborone, the Stuart White directed Joseph and the Amasing Technicolor Dreamcoat made its triumphant return to Maru-a-Pula School's Maitisong Theatre on Friday.

The musical, created by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, is based on the Genesis story of Joseph, and tells it through music with a range of musical styles sweeping from disco, to rock and roll and calypso.

With many of the cast members from the 2005 production returning to reprise their roles, White's production proved to be a seamless entertaining ride suitable for the whole family.
