TAYA 2012 works are up

Selected art works for the lucrative Thapong Artist of the Year Awards(TAYA) are already hanging on the walls and laid out on the floors for viewing, ahead of the awards billed for this Thursday, 6:30 pm at the Thapong centre for the arts at the Village.

Last week  Thapong also announced the logo and theme for this year's awards on Facebook. It is " We Forster Creativity & Creativity". Thapong also posted open invitation cards on  Facebook, announcing the November 15 awards.

Chief curator Philip Segola was busy on Saturday and Friday laying out  the selected works on the floor and hanging some works on the wall, ahead of the big day that will see the ultimate winner pocketing  P30, 000, and the runner up, getting P25,000, while the young artist award winner will go home with P20, 000.
