Splash new album, revisit of history

Who says history never repeats itself? It does; after all we need to consider our history to shape our future. In the album Xewani Dan Tshanda took a few steps back into his own history.

The 12-track album from the South African maestro would have disco fans, especially those who have followed the group since its early days in 1986, reliving the old times when the young Tshanda broke into the disco scene under the mentorship of the late Hamilton Nzimande.

In particular the track Stop Fighting, which is a remix from Splash's Snake album, re-ignites memories of when disco music was the "real deal". The time when Brentwood pants, Crocket and Jones sharp pointed shoes defined a street smart "gentleman".
