Not many people would have imagined it would happen but it has! Splash boss Dan Tshanda has reconciled with his old band members Thabile Mazolwana, Bongile and Ivory Sikepe.

All these performers will be in the country this weekend for the "Battle of the disco giants" show billed for Molapowabong on Saturday. The ace producer, Tshanda, has always been diplomatic about his relationship with his protege, insisting that he was not fighting them, though it was clear that tension existed between them.

However, both Sikepe and Mazolwana were not apologetic about it. They accused Tshanda of cheating them hence they "would not work with him again". Sikepe, a founding member of disco group By4, together with her late husband and Matshikos lead singer Penwell Kunene, had vowed never to return to her former boss. But things change and people also change. By4 is part of the line up in Molapowabojang and reports are that the group's next album will be produced by Tshanda, who is popularly referred to as the "The hits Machine".
