Young beauties of different ages, shapes and sizes took to the stage as they paraded different clothes to introduce and launch a modelling agency called Sistahud at Gaborone's Somarelang Tikologo on Friday.

Apart from watching beautifully dressed women taking turns on stage, the mood was lifted higher following some spectacular performances by local artists, Mosako and Lizibo. Mosako, who seemed to be more popular particularly with the women, sang out his most loved tunes that many danced to. Not to be outdone, Lizibo also did his bit as DJ Fondo Fi played tune after tune.

Although the event wasn't well attended, it is safe to say that those present witnessed history being made.  The director of the agency, Masego Ramonna said that lack of modelling coordination in the country prompted them to form the agency that would fill this vacuum, which has hampered its development in the country.  "Sistahud modelling agency focuses more on grouping all talented female models into one house and building development interactions which will in the future then lead to profitable commercialisation of modelling in the country," she said.
