Sid's negative comments help musician grow

My Star judge, Dj Sid (Sidney Baitsile)'s comments have left some of the contestants bitter and frustrated while helping others realise their full potential.

Take D Nice (Dintle Bogatsu), for instance. In 2010 Sid blatantly told her that she would never be a star. Today the "heavy queen" is on the verge of releasing he debut album and her single 'Bua Sematla' is already doing well two weeks after its release.

It entered the Yarona FM top 20 list at number 19 and has moved to position 14. "I was hurt after DJ Sid told me that I wouldn't be a star. Kgomotso (Tshwenyego) also echoed similar sentiments saying I was not good enough," D Nice told Showbiz.
