Selolwane: From New York to a homebound grandfather

The man sitting on a couch in his Tapologo Estates home talks so loudly and animatedly that the baby girl sleeping in her cot nearby wakes up, crying.

"Shh, baby, sorry.  Come here, come and be famous with grandpa," the man says to the baby girl, scooping her out of her cot into his arms.

The image of a loving and home-bound grandfather is not one that many immediately associate with an internationally acclaimed musician.  But for John Selolwane, Francistown-born world renowned guitarist, who has toured and played with everybody from South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela to American singer-songwriter Paul Simon, this is what he has returned home to.
