Selebi-Phikwe tastes comedy

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Entertainment lovers in the copper mining town of Selebi-Phikwe were treated to a different kind of fun, being standup comedy over the weekend.

Despite the low turn up, the event proceeded without any hiccups.  The comedian, Carl Ncube from Zimbabwe said the event was part of his world tour that will take him to 37 cities across the world.

His build up was kind of slow without any punchlines, but as the show continued his audience started warming up to his comedic style when they laughed uncontrollably.  Ncube's jokes ranged from the political situation in his home country of Zimbabwe, the different culture that he got exposed to, especially during his stay in Botswana.
