Sediba Sa Ngwao release third album

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Sediba Sa Ngwao traditional group have released their third album entitled Mmoko Wa Talane.

The eight-track album is expected to warm the hearts of traditional music lovers this winter, with its flowing rhythm and strong message that the songs possess.

The group's spokesperson, Tshepo Tsela told Showbiz in an interview that the album was released in April.  He mentioned that their album is not like any other that Batswana have become accustomed to. He explained that they have improved the quality of setapa music that they are playing.  Tsela said that the group is made up of eight members - a woman and seven men.  They are: Rose Moleleki, Obokeng Pebe, Otsweletse Mathodi, David Moreetsi, Kagiso Jubilee, Lapologang Molefhe and Botshelo Molefhe.  "We formed Sediba Sa Ngwao in 2007 because of the love for traditional music that we have.  The members of the group are from different parts of the country and we worked together to come up with good music.  Our past two albums have been a success as indicated by the invitations that we get to perform at various events such as weddings," he said.
