South African Pastor and singer Solly Mahlangu comes to Gaborone next month at the invitation of Pentecostal Holyness Church. During his visit Mahlangu will feature in a fund-raising music concert for the church.

In an interview, one of the Holyness church fund-raising committee members, Kabelo Lesole, said initially Mahlangu's visit was just meant for the church, but they decided to take advantage of his popularity to host a music festival in his honour. Lesole said the festival would give Batswana a rare opportunity to meet with the singer.

Lesole would not say how much they hope to raise from the festival, but said they hope to raise a significant figure considering Mahlangu's popularity.
