Affable South African hip-hop artist HHP saved this year's My African Dream (MAD) grand finale, held Friday night at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) from becoming a complete farce.

HHP was the guest performer on the night, accompanied by Casper and Kaygee who managed to breathe life into the show, which was broadcast live on Botswana Television (Btv).

Perhaps it was fitting then that hip-hop group TNT were crowned judges' choice in the senior category while ballroom dancing duo Dunamis were crowned the senior viewers' choice.  Selebi-Phikwe kwaito dance group, Juvenile were awarded the viewers' choice on the night, while Psycho Kings were runners-up in the teens category.
