Club Catch Jazz 22 in Broadhurst is proving to be a joint where one can have a jolly time. On Friday, New Zealand based- Botswana muso, Ras Juda held his farewell gig at the joint.

The 'jahman' lived to his style as he enthralled the crowd with reggae tunes.  Club Catch Jazz 22 might be a jazz joint but on Friday the Rasta group provided a different vibe.  And who said the Rasta man cannot do traditional music.  Ras Judas played a traditional tune titled Naletsana E Le Ya Moriberibe and the group did justice to this Tswana folksong.

The theme of the Friday show seemed to be love as the band belted out love songs.  Ras Juda who is also known as Samuel Seomeng, was backed by local artists.  He had assembled quite a tight outfit.  Ras Juda who migrated to New Zealand in 2003, is a former member of  Steppin' Razor.
