Despite the rain and cold weather on Friday evening, Moratiwa Molema's Rhythm Project: Movement II went ahead as planned at Botswanacraft.

Theatre lovers came to witness the abstract musical piece which had an intimate setting with a handful and laid back audience. Like the name rhythm depicts, the musical was all about rhythm in its different forms.

Molema's musical was able to evoke curiosity fusing different cultures being the Setswana and Native American culture and used music and dance to communicate the message. As the actors performed there was a merger of different cultures as the dance technique of capoeira which is a Brazilian martial art technique that combines elements of dance and music was fused with the Setswana traditional dance. Although different in their forms the dances managed to blend well and create a unity and flow. There was also an on-point choreography from the actors as well as the accessories designs that stood out and made a statement on their own.
