Punah, Sarah's recycling exhibition

Two artists have taken their mutual love for recycled materials to the public by mounting an exhibition in Gaborone aptly titled Recycling.

The exhibition by Puni Mosinyi and Oodi-Matebele-based Sarah Coleman opened at the Alliance Franaise on Friday night.

For Mosinyi, who had exhibited mainly stuffed Herero dolls, stuffed giraffes and mobiles, the exhibition was a bittersweet victory.  She told Showtime at the exhibition that her working with recycled material (and helping to curb environmental degradation) came by accident.
